Hägerstens Botaniska Trädgård (The Botanical Garden of Hägersten) is a music and art project created and managed by Johan Eriksson, Sofia Hultin and Ingela Ihrman since 2009. Unlike many other botanical gardens, Hägerstens Botaniska doesn’t place much emphasis on origin, naming or classifying. Instead, they are keen on keeping the collection unarranged. Here there is room for both the ordinary. Perhaps you’ll experience an imaginary vacation trip or perhaps a radio show is broadcasted for broken-hearted gardeners. You might be invited for a guided tour in the fruit and vegetable department at your local grocery store or you might get to witness the world’s saddest opening night number.
